YANGON, Jan. 14 (Xinhua) -- Three people have been killed and two others injured in an oil tank-loaded truck fire in Bahmo, Myanmar's Kachin state, said a release of the Home Ministry Monday.
The fire broke out on Sunday at 0945 a.m. local time as Denko-company-owned diesel oil was being transmitted from a ship, Aye Chan Kun Ar, berthing at the bank of Ayayawaddy River near Sin Kan village to a 5,000-gallon-capacity oil truck, causing explosion and resulting in loss of 450 gallons of the fuel.
The three victims died of burned injury.
Investigation into the fire case is underway by local police.
