5 trapped as under-construction building collapses in northern India

NEW DELHI, Jan. 24 (Xinhua) -- At least five people were trapped under the debris of a four-storey under-construction building that collapsed in the wee hours of Thursday in Gurugram district of northern Indian state Haryana.

The incident occurred in the district's Ullawas village.

Rescue teams of the National Disaster Response Force were rushed to the site of the incident, and efforts were being made to bring out those trapped under the debris.
