TEHRAN, Jan. 29 (Xinhua) -- At least three policemen were injured in twin blasts in the southeastern city of Zahedan on Tuesday, Sardar Qanbari, the Police Chief of Sistan and Baluchestan Province, told state TV.
The policemen were injured as they were trying to check a suspect package, where the first explosion took place, Qanbari said.
The police forces controlled the situation and complementary news will be released by the police, he added.
The explosions took place near the police station, according to local media.
The victims have not been seriously injured, the chief of the emergency center of Zahedan was quoted as saying by Fouri news website.
