JAKARTA, Jan. 30 (Xinhua) -- Indonesian shuttlers have set a target of winning tickets to the semifinals of mixed doubles at the forthcoming All England championship in March, coach Nova Widianto disclosed here on Wednesday.
"The time for our preparation is short. It is less than a month. We train them maximally," the coach said.
Home players Tontowi Ahmad and Liliyana Natsir lost to Chinese duo Zheng Siwei and Huang Yaqiong in the mixed doubles final at the 2019 Indonesia Masters on Sunday.
As part of the participation for the All England championship, the coach disclosed that the Indonesian mixed doubles pairs are scheduled to take part in the 2019 Spain Masters taking place in Barcelona, and the 2019 Germany Open in Muelheim an der Ruhr.
The coach said that her players returned to training on Monday, the second day after the Indonesian Masters came to an end.
"We do not have much time, and the players directly have the training," she said.
The All England championship is scheduled to be played in Birmingham, Britain from March 6 to 10.
