AMMAN, Jan. 31 (Xinhua) -- Foreign ministers of several Gulf states as well as Jordan and Egypt held a meeting Thursday and discussed latest regional developments and challenges.
Jordanian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Sufian Qudah said the meeting, which was held at the Dead Sea area, concluded later in the day, saying it was "positive and constructive."
He added that the meeting included open discussions regarding issues in the Middle East and means to face common challenges as well as coordination to serve Arab issues.
The meeting was attended by Saudi Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Adel Jubeir, UAE's Foreign Minister Abdullah Ben Zayed Al Nahyan, Bahraini Foreign Minister Khaled Ben Ahmed Al Khalifa, Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Sabah Khalid Al Sabah and Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Hassan Shoukry.
