SARAJEVO, Feb. 1 (Xinhua) -- Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) beat Turkey 7-2 in the preliminary round for FIFA Futsal World Cup on Friday in Zenica, a city located 70 kilometers northwest of the capital Sarajevo.
Currently, BiH are topping Group F with 9 points.
Opponents to BiH in the main round will be Croatia, Russia, and the second placed team from Group E of the preliminary round (Sweden or Belgium). The qualification tournament will be held in Croatia in October this year.
The 2020 FIFA Futsal World Cup in Lithuania is scheduled to take place from September 12 to October 4, 2020 with 24 contenders.
