TEHRAN, Feb. 3 (Xinhua) -- Iran has mounted guided warheads on its "most destructive" and long-range Khorramshahr missiles, semi-official Fars news agency reported on Sunday.
The new generation of missiles with guided warheads is named Khorramshahr-2 which can be remotely controlled to hit the target.
Khorramshahr-2 missile is able to carry warheads with the weight of nearly 2 tons, according to the report.
Khorramshahr-class ballistic missiles have a range of 2,000 km and are capable of carrying multiple warheads.
