YANGON, Feb. 7 (Xinhua) -- A slight earthquake with a magnitude of 4.7 jolted Myanmar's Kachin state on Thursday, according to the Meteorology and Hydrology Department.
The quake struck at 3:19 p.m. local time (0849 GMT).
The epicenter was 51.5 km southeast of Danai town and 72.4 km northwest of Myitkyina seismological observatory in Kachin state.
No further information about damages was reported so far.
