SHANGHAI, Feb. 12 (Xinhua) -- The 2019 Spring Disney Inspiration Run will be held on April 13-14, the Shanghai Disney Resort announced on Tuesday.
The event will continue featuring three courses of different lengths: 3.5km, 5km and 10km, and will comprise the Disney Inspiration Kids Run for the first time.
Runners aged five years and older are allowed to participate in the 3.5km run, while the 5km and 10km races require the participants being 16 years old or above.
The Disney Inspiration Kids Run will be open to children aged between two to five with an accompanying parent or guardian.
The 3.5km, 5km and the Disney Inspiration Kids Run will be held on April 13, followed by the 10km run on April 14.
Every participant will receive a commemorative Disney character themed T-shirt and those who cross the finish line will be awarded a medal.
Pre-registration for the event will be open from February 18 to February 24.
First organized in Orlando, Disney's destination races have attracted hundreds of thousands of participants across the globe.
