RAMALLAH, Feb. 12 (Xinhua) -- The Palestinian representative at the UN Human Rights Council (HRC) said on Tuesday that the Palestinian Authority (PA) will complain to the HRC about Israel's intention to deduct the money allocated to families of Palestinian prisoners and those slain by Israeli forces from PA's tax revenues collected by Israeli authorities.

Ibrahim Khreisheh told the official Palestinian radio station Voice of Palestine that the issue will be discussed in the next HRC session scheduled for Feb. 25.

Palestinian Foreign Minister Riyad al-Maliki will press for an international position against the potential Israeli measure in his upcoming address at the UN Security Council, he said.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Sunday that his government is going to approve next week the law to deduct PA's financial allocations out of its tax revenues, according to the Israeli public radio.

The monthly customs revenues Israel collects on behalf of the Palestinian Authority amount to more than 120 million U.S. dollars, while the deducted money will be about 32 million dollars.

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas' Fatah party accused Israel and the United States of "tightening the financial blockade" against the PA, after the PA rejected the U.S.-proposed Middle East peace plan.

The Palestinians declared its boycott of the U.S. government since it recognized Jerusalem as Israel's capital and moved its embassy in Israel to the holy city.
