GABORONE, Feb. 16 (Xinhua) -- Botswana's President Mokgweetsi Masisi on Saturday challenged his party members to restrict from unruly behaviors, ahead of the country's general elections later this year.
Addressing Botswana Democratic Party members in Moshupa, 66 kilometres west of Gaborone, capital of Botswana, Masisi gave a stern warning against disobedient party members.
"I demand discipline, as your party leader. Do not insult one another, it's unity time, ahead of the upcoming elections," said President Masisi.
"I respect the rule of law. I have never done anything against the law and I have no intention to disregard the rule of law," he reiterated.
