NEW DELHI, Feb. 18 (Xinhua) -- India and Argentina signed ten memorandums of understanding (MoUs) Monday in areas including defense, tourism, pharmaceuticals, agriculture, civil nuclear energy, information technology, and cooperation in the Antarctic.
The MoUs were signed in the presence of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and visiting Argentine President Mauricio Macri in the Indian capital.
Macri is on a three-day state visit to India on the invitation of Modi, to mark the 70 years of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
Earlier in the day, Macri and Modi held delegation level talks during which they reiterated on bilateral relations based on shared values, principles, freedom, rule of law, respect for human rights and territorial integrity of states.
