WINDHOEK, Feb. 27 (Xinhua) -- Namibian rugby will resume when local club United host their annual 10-a-side tournament on March 8 and 9.
Acting CEO of the Namibian Rugby Union, William Steenkamp, on Tuesday released the fixtures for this year's club rugby league, which gets underway at the end of March. Teams will participate across three leagues, with defending champions Wanderers hoping to maintain their dominance.
United, Unam and Western Suburbs are the league's Windhoek-based outfits, while Rehoboth Rugby Club and Reho Falcon hail from Rehoboth. The top tier is rounded out by Kudus, from Walvis Bay.
Both Wanderers and Western Suburbs have undertaken tours to South Africa in preparation for the new season.
