DHAKA, March 1 (Xinhua) -- A Biman Bangladesh Airlines plane on a domestic flight made an emergency landing at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in capital Dhaka on Friday with no one hurt, the airlines' spokesman said.
Mesbah Uddin, domestic flights manager of the national flag carrier, told Xinhua that the Dash-8 plane, carrying 61 passengers and four crew members, took off from northeastern Sylhet city at about 2:59 p.m. local time Frriday for Dhaka.
It made an emergency landing at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at around 4:00 p.m., he said.
According to the official, the pilot of the plane informed the traffic control tower of a burst tyre.
