DAR ES SALAAM, March 3 (Xinhua) -- Tanzanian President John Magufuli on Sunday made a mini-reshuffle of the cabinet reshuffle swapping ministers for foreign affairs, and legal and constitutional affairs.
Magufuli appointed Palamagamba Kabudi new minister for Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation replacing Augustine Mahiga, who was appointed new minister for legal and constitutional affairs, said a statement released by the Directorate of Presidential Communication at State House in the commercial capital, Dar es Salaam.
Kabudi has been at the frontline of negotiations with mining companies and amendment of mining laws aimed at ensuring that the country benefited from the mining sector.
The statement said the new ministers will be sworn in by Magufuli at State House on Monday.
