LAGOS, March 6 (Xinhua) -- Nigeria will host the Africa Silver Cup 2019 Pool A tournament in Lagos, the country's commercial hub, from June 6-17.
The Nigeria Rugby Football Federation (NRFF) said in a statement sent to Xinhua on Wednesday that Pool A also includes Madagascar, Botswana and Ghana.
Cote d'Ivoire will play host to Senegal, Mauritius and Rwanda in Pool B from June 15-23.
The winners of Pool A and B will meet in a final match to determine the Silver Cup champions.
The event is Rugby Africa's second tier tournament and the winner will gain promotion to the top tier Gold Cup where they stand a chance to earn a slot at the World Cup in the year 2023. Enditem
