TOKYO, April 1 (Xinhua) -- Tokyo stocks advanced Monday morning as investor sentiment was lifted by a positive lead from Wall Street late last week and further bolstered by eased concerns over the outlook for the global economy.

The broader Topix index of all First Section issues on the Tokyo Stock Exchange, meanwhile, added 32.47 points or 2.04 percent, at 1,624.11.
Oil and coal, iron and steel, and nonferrous metal-linked issues comprised those that gained the most by the morning break.
