GABORONE, April 3 (Xinhua) -- Botswana are preparing to face Namibia in a 2020 Olympic women's soccer qualifier first leg match to be held here on April 5.
Botswana are 151st in the FIFA world rankings and 25th in Africa. Namibia are ranked 128th in the world and 16th in Africa.
Botswana Football Association mouth-piece, Tumo Mpatane said that the preparations went well in terms of availing all the international players for the game, the only setback being failure to organize an international friendly prior to the Friday game.
"Remember the biggest challenge is that everyone is preparing for the qualifiers, so it is always difficult to find an international friendly closer to the main game," said Mpatane.
"Namibia is not a closed book to us, given that we played against them in the COSAFA Cup," he said.
