BEIJING, April 10 (Xinhua) -- More than 30 Taiwan-invested companies have been listed in the A-share market on the mainland, according to a mainland spokesperson.

Of them, ten became A-share listed after 2016, said Ma Xiaoguang, spokesperson with the State Council Taiwan Affairs Office, at a press conference Wednesday.

"Enhancing cross-Strait economic cooperation benefits both sides of the Strait and is in line with the common interests of compatriots of both sides," said Ma. "We always support Taiwan-invested enterprises to get listed on the mainland and share development opportunities on the mainland."

He also noted that there were no obstacles within the mainland's policy that kept enterprises from Taiwan off-limits to the mainland's new science and technology innovation board, adding that they would enjoy equal treatment with their mainland peers.
