Dollar changes hands around 112 yen line in early trade in Tokyo

TOKYO, April 18 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar changed hands around the 112 yen line in early deals in Tokyo on Thursday, largely in line with its levels in New York overnight.

As markets opened here, the dollar was quoted at 112.04-05 yen compared with 112.01-11 yen in New York and 112.01-02 yen at 5 p.m. on Wednesday in Tokyo.

The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.1296-1297 dollars and 126.54-55 yen against 1.1287-1297 dollars and 126.52-62 yen in New York and 1.1316-1317 dollars and 126.75-79 yen in late Wednesday afternoon trade in Tokyo.
