ANKARA, April 19 (Xinhua) -- Turkey arrested two men suspected of spying for the United Arab Emirates, state-run Anadolu Agency reported on Friday.
Istanbul prosecutors have launched a probe into the two alleged intelligence officers' links to the murder of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi, the agency said citing judicial sources.
Khashoggi was killed in the Saudi Consulate in Istanbul on Oct. 2, 2018.
Riyadh initially denied any knowledge of the journalist's whereabouts, but later admitted that Khashoggi had been killed and his body dismembered.
Saudi authorities have charged 11 people with the murder, while Ankara demands that the accused be extradited to Turkey, and Riyadh reveal where the journalist's remains can be found.
