BEIJING, April 20 (Xinhua) -- Sweden's Royal Dramatic Theater will put on a "Macbeth" musical drama at the Beijing Tianqiao Performing Arts Center on June 13 and 14.
The play keeps the main plots of William Shakespeare tragedy set in the 11th century about a Scottish general named Macbeth, who murders the king and takes the throne before becoming a tyrannical ruler and finally dying.
Founded in 1991, the Swedish chorus tells stories with music, including Renaissance, French baroque and popular folk music. It has toured more than 30 countries.
