BUDAPEST, April 22 (Xinhua)-- The Chinese city of Chengdu has been selected as the host to the 2022 World Team Table Tennis Championships.
The International Table Tennis Federation chose the southwestern Chinese city on Monday, over Japan's Kita Kyushu and Portugal's Lisbon.
Chengdu, which hosted the 2018 women's World Cup and will stage the 2019 men's and women's World Cup, will be the sixth Chinese city to host the table tennis worlds, after Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Suzhou.
