BEIJING, April 25 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Vice President Wang Qishan on Thursday met with Indonesian Vice President Jusuf Kalla, who is here to attend the Second Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation.

Wang said the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) upholds the principle of extensive consultation, joint contribution, and shared benefits, and reflects the concept of a community with a shared future for mankind, offering huge opportunities for cooperation between China and Indonesia.

Kalla said Indonesia looks forward to learning from China's reform and opening-up experience and deepening cooperation with China under the BRI framework.
