BEIJING, April 26 (Xinhua) -- China's top political advisor Wang Yang on Friday met with Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras, who is here to attend the Second Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation.
Wang, chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, said China is willing to maintain the momentum of high-level exchanges with Greece, expand economic and trade cooperation, and strengthen people-to-people and cultural exchanges.
Tsipras said that Greece will actively participate in the Belt and Road Initiative, and continue to deepen cooperation with China in economy, trade, investment, energy, tourism, culture, and scientific and technological innovation.
