PHNOM PENH, April 29 (Xinhua) -- Myanmar's State Counselor Aung San Suu Kyi arrived in Cambodia on Monday for a three-day visit to further enhance bilateral ties and cooperation.
It is Suu Kyi's first visit to Cambodia since she took office in 2016.
She is scheduled to hold bilateral talks with Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Techo Hun Sen at the Peace Palace on Tuesday morning before having an audience with King Norodom Sihamoni at the royal palace in the afternoon, the Cambodian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
At the end of the trip, Suu Kyi will visit the Angkor Archeological Park, a world heritage site, in northwest Cambodia's Siem Reap province.
Myanmar and Cambodia established diplomatic relations in 1955.
