BEIRUT, May 2 (Xinhua) -- Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri discussed Thursday ways of boosting ties with Egypt on all levels with his Egyptian counterpart Mostafa Madbouly, local media reported.
The two prime ministers discussed at the Grand Serail in Beirut the latest developments in Lebanon and in the region in addition to measures that should be taken to enhance relations between the two countries, according to the National News Agency.
Madbouly arrived in Lebanon on Wednesday evening in a three-day official visit where he will conduct negotiations with Lebanese officials tackling various issues.
After his meeting with Hariri, Madbouly went to the Four Seasons Hotel to take part in the opening of the Arab Economic Forum which will be held for one day.
Mabdouly announced on Wednesday that Egyptian businessmen are ready to invest in Lebanon and that his presence in the country shows Egypt's full support for Lebanon.
