TASHKENT, May 8 (Xinhua) -- Uzbekistan's Justice Ministry on Wednesday published a list of the organizations and online resources that are recognized by the country's Supreme Court as being extremist and prohibited in the Central Asian nation.
According to the Supreme Court's decision on March 12, dozens of internet sites, online information profiles, channels and pages on social networks such as Facebook and YouTube and Telegram pages were recognized as having extremist and terrorist materials, a ministry statement said.
The list, published in the country for the first time, contains 40 names of internet resources and pages in social networks in the Uzbek language.
