Chinese researchers have developed a new technology to produce artemisinin, the top choice for malaria treatment, on a large scale.
Researchers proposed enhancing contact between the solvent and the leaves by reflux to speed up the artemisinin extraction. The extraction time was reduced from seven hours to four and a half.
5G COVERAGE IN BEIJING'S HI-TECH ZONE
Beijing's economic-technology zone in Yizhuang, in the southeast suburbs of the capital, will have 5G coverage by the end of this year, according to local authorities .
By the end of this year, the area will build over 200 5G base stations, covering the whole area, according to a conference held in Yizhuang.
