BANGKOK, May 14 (Xinhua) -- Three have been killed after a car crashed into a tree and caught fire in Bangkok on early Tuesday.
The fire engulfed the car, killing the driver and a front-seat passenger, according to reports.
The back-seat passenger was pulled out by passers-by, but died later at the scene from injuries, according to police.
Witness said the car collided with a tree and flipped onto its right side at about 3 a.m. local time.
Police said the victims could not be identified as they were burnt. The three bodies were sent for identification.
Police found the license plate of the car belonged to a 43-year old woman. Police are trying to contact her to try and clarify the circumstances of the crash and the identity of the people in the car.
