SHANGHAI, May 16 (Xinhua) -- A total of 17 workers have been rescued after a factory wall collapsed in Shanghai on Thursday, authorities said.
The wall fell at 11:20 a.m. Thursday on Zhaohua Road in Shanghai's Changning District, trapping an unspecified number of people at the site, according to the municipal bureau of emergency management. The rescued workers were rushed to hospital for treatment.
The accident happened when the factory building was being demolished.
The rescue continues.
