RIO DE JANEIRO, May 16 (Xinhua) -- Flamengo are among four Brazilian clubs pursuing former Chelsea midfielder Ramires after his departure from China's Jiangsu Suning, local media reported Thursday.
Others vying for the 32-year-old's signature include Cruzeiro, Palmeiras and Atletico Mineiro, the O Tempo newspaper said.
The playmaker has also caught the interest of clubs in Europe, including Italian giants Inter Milan and Lazio, according to a separate Globo Esporte report.
Ramires parted ways with Jiangsu Suning on Thursday, more than six months before his contract was due to expire.
The former Brazil international made 60 appearances across all competitions for the Chinese Super League club following his 2016 move from Chelsea.
