RABAT, May 22 (Xinhua) -- Morocco's state-owned Office Cherifien de Phosphate (OCP) revenues hiked by 20 percent in the first quarter of 2019, reaching 1.31 billion U.S. dollars, OCP announced in a statement on Wednesday.

This performance was driven by higher acid and fertilizer volumes and supported by higher rock, acid and fertilizer prices in first quarter compared to the same period of 2018, the statement pointed out.

OCP is the largest phosphate producer in the world and a leading global fertilizer player.

It has exclusive access to the world's largest phosphate rock reserve base.
