YANGON, May 27 (Xinhua) -- Eight fishermen have been killed in a boat capsizal in sea off Myanmar's Yangon region, according to local police force on Monday.
The eight bodies were found on the beach 9.6 km east of the Mee Laung creek, Nant Thar Myaing village of Thongwa township.
According to survivor helmsmen, the victims went fishing by two boats on Sunday noon and got caught in the whirlwind that wrecked their boats while they were catching fish in the sea.
The victims drowned with no external injuries, according to examination.
The Thongwa police station has opened a case to find out if they died of natural cause or not.
