JAKARTA, May 29 (Xinhua) -- Indonesian hurdler Emilia Nova, who scooped gold in the women's 100m hurdles at this year's Malaysia Open Grand Prix is aiming to repeat her victory in the 2019 SEA Games in the Phillippines later this year, her coach revealed here on Wednesday.

Nova, who has almost recovered from injury, is currently undergoing preparations for the regional sport event, her coach Ongky said.

"For the SEA Games, the target is one gold medal, God willing," the coach revealed.

Before competing in the Games, Nova will take part in the 2019 Summer Universiade which will be held in Naples, Italy.

"I will take experience in the Summer Universiade, but the focus is still on the SEA Games," said Nova.

Nova suffered an injury while competing in Asian Athletic Championships in Qatar in April, meaning she must skip several international tournaments, according to Ongky.

The Indonesian Athletic Association has set a target of three gold medals at the SEA Games, including the 100m hurdles, according to athletics coach Eni Nuraini.

The 30th edition of the biennial regional multi-sport event is scheduled to be held in the Phillippines from November 30 to December 11.
