Construction of new campus of NYU Shanghai begins

 

Representatives of New York University Shanghai (NYU Shanghai) attend the groundbreaking ceremony of construction on the new campus in Shanghai, east China, May 30, 2019. Shanghai began construction Thursday on the new campus of NYU Shanghai, the first Sino-U.S. higher education institute in China. Located in the New Bund of Pudong District (Qiantan Area), the construction covers more than 110,000 square meters and is expected to be completed by 2022. The new campus can accommodate up to 4,000 undergraduate and graduate students. (Xinhua/Liu Ying)
