Han Hongxiao helps her husband Jia Hongtao sit on a wheelchair at their home in Jiahu Village of Wuyang County, central China's Henan Province, May 30, 2019. Jia Hongtao and Han Hongxiao got married in 1996 and their child was born two years later. However, the happy family fell on hard times in 2006 when Jia became paralyzed because of a car accident. Han then shouldered the responsibility to take care of her husband and the whole family. Under the good care of Han in the past 13 years, Jia's health condition was gradually improved. Now he could carry on some simple conversation and realized motion recovery in the left side of the body. Han also got a job as a saleswoman at a clothing store.
