CAIRO, June 4 (Xinhua) -- The Arab League (AL) condemned in a statement on Tuesday the armed attacks that hit Lebanon's northern city of Tripoli.
Mahmoud Afifi, spokesman of the AL chief, offered condolences to the families of the victims and wished a speedy recovery for the injured, stressing the Pan-Arab organization's solidarity with Lebanon in facing terrorism in all shapes.
The statement highlighted the importance of the unity of the Lebanese people to combat any attempt targeting the security and stability of their country.
A total of three members of Lebanon security force were killed and another civilian was wounded on Monday in armed attacks in Tripoli.
