BEIJING, June 7 (Xinhua) -- Yeh-Shen, a puppet show adapted from a Cinderella-like Chinese story was staged Friday at the China National Theatre for Children.
Based on a Chinese novel in the Tang Dynasty (618-907), the puppet show tells a story about Yeh-Shen, a girl who is often abused by her sister and step-mother but eventually marries the King because of her kindness.
The puppet show will have seven more performances in a row.
