TEHRAN, June 9 (Xinhua) -- Iran unveiled on Sunday a homemade air defense system capable of hitting six incoming targets simultaneously, state TV reported.
The system, named Khordad 15, can detect hostile fighter jets and combat drones from 150 km away, Iranian Defense Minister Amir Hatami said at the unveiling ceremony.
It is also capable of tracking them within a range of 120 km, he added.
Iran is currently developing systems to counter missiles and other aerial threats, Hatami was quoted as saying.
