SHENYANG, June 18 (Xinhua) -- Two items suspected as elephant tusks and the specimen of a hawksbill turtle were found in two parcels from Japan, Shenyang Customs in northeastern China's Liaoning Province said Tuesday.
The tusks weighing 1.7 kg and the hawksbill specimen weighing 7.72 kg were found in the parcels through a CT scan, the customs said.
Import and trade of hawksbill and ivory products are banned in China.
