HONG KONG, June 19 (Xinhua) -- A 6.8-magnitude quake jolted 159km ENE of L'Esperance Rock, New Zealand at 07:01:40 GMT on Wednesday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 30.8 degrees south latitude and 177.4 degrees west longitude.
