AMMAN, June 22 (Xinhua) -- Jordan will participate in the Bahrain workshop that will be held on June 25, an official said Saturday.
Foreign Ministry Spokesman Sufian Qudah said in a statement that the secretary general of the Ministry of Finance will take part in the event to listen to all issues to be discussed during the event.
Jordan will deal with the event on the basis of its constant positions on the Palestinian issue, he added.
There is no alternative to the two-state solution that ensures the right of the Palestinians' statehood and their right of freedom, the Jordanian spokesman noted.
Jordan only supports the two-state solution that leads to the creation of an independent Palestinian state along the 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital, Qudah stressed.
No economic offer can be an alternative to a political settlement based on the two-state solution, he said.
