WUHAN, June 23 (Xinhua) -- A 1.5-meter-long blind crocodile intruding into a meat-packing plant in central China's Wuhan city has been captured, according to local police.
The Siamese crocodile appeared in the factory amid a torrential downpour on Friday. Frightened workers called the police, and it took the policemen more than half an hour to capture the reptile.
It is unknown where the crocodile came as none were reported missing from any zoo in the city, police said.
The crocodile has been handed over to a wildlife rescue center. It was found to have been blind during a physical checkup.
