BRUSSELS, June 25 (Xinhua) -- The European Union and Vietnam are set to sign trade and investment agreements on Sunday in Hanoi.
EU member states green-lighted the accords on Tuesday, which will eliminate nearly all customs duties on goods traded between the two sides in a progressive way.
The agreements with Vietnam, a growing economy with 95 million people, followed the 500-million-strong EU's similar deals with Singapore and Japan.
