Zhao Chen stays in his dormitory where yo-yo and an algebra book are seen on the table, in Beijing, capital of China, on June 23, 2019. Many young people in China have multiple interests and identities. Zhao Chen, 25, studies for a math doctorate at Chinese Academy of Sciences. But beyond that, he is also a professional yo-yo player who even moved into the top three in the 4A division at World Yo-Yo Contest 2017. Zhao believes that the enthusiasm enriches people's lives. Chang Lai, 40, is a college counsellor at Hunan Agricultural University. As a theatre enthusiast, Chang established a drama club in the university and became the instructor for club students. Under direction of Chang, the club students won three prizes at the 5th International Festival of University Theater of Tangier in Morocco in 2011. Chang is also good at playing the guitar.
