WELLINGTON, June 27 (Xinhua) -- A 6.3-magnitude earthquake jolted off L'Esperance Rock, New Zealand, at 1104 GMT on Thursday, the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 30.386 degrees south latitude and 179.233 degrees west longitude, according to the USGS.
