CAIRO, June 27 (Xinhua) -- Algeria stepped into the last 16 of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) after achieving a 1-0 win over Senegal here on Thursday night in their second match of Group C.
Algeria's forward Mohamed Youcef Belaili scored the winner in the 49th minute, although Liverpool star Sadio Mane's Senegal had 55 percent of the ball possession.
