Severe drought affects east China's Shandong

Photo taken on June 27, 2019 shows a pump station of water diversion project of the Yellow River in Wucheng County, east China's Shandong Province. Severe drought is affecting east China's Shandong Province. The latest statistics showed that the drought had inflicted damage on about 17.838 million mu (1.19 million hectares) of crops, which accounted for 21.9 percent of the whole crop area in fields.
