Severe drought affects east China's Shandong

Photo taken on June 27, 2019 shows drought-affected corn fields at Rendezhuang Village of Haowangzhuang Township in Wucheng County, east China's Shandong Province. Severe drought is affecting east China's Shandong Province. The latest statistics showed that the drought had inflicted damage on about 17.838 million mu (1.19 million hectares) of crops, which accounted for 21.9 percent of the whole crop area in fields.
